Early Years:
2 to 4 year olds

Early Years is an exciting and vibrant place where young learners are free to explore, create, and grow!

With a focus on curiosity and adventure, we inspire children to discover the world through play, song and outdoor activities. Every day is filled with activities that spark imagination and help our children to develop important skills.

We work with each child to develop confidence and a love of learning by creating a safe space where they have the freedom to explore and grow at their own pace.

Willow & Chestnut Class

Being in the forest turns learning into a fun adventure! Our Early Years curriculum is lively, building on what each child already knows and opening up exciting new ways to learn. The children are divided into two age groups (2-3 and 3-4 years old) so that we can ensure they feel supported as they grow.

In addition to the class teacher, children enjoy visits from specialist teachers for Music, Sport, and French lessons, bringing extra energy to their learning. Even our youngest children join in with assemblies, themed days, and school trips, all designed to make their transition through the school easier. It’s the perfect mix of nature, creativity, and hands-on learning, set in a magical environment that sparks curiosity every day!

Learning Languages

In Early Years, language acquisition is all about fun, discovery, and communication! At FISP, we turn learning French into something exciting, with 4.5 hours of immersive sessions each week. Through playful activities and songs, children not only learn the basics of French but also gain the confidence to express themselves and communicate with ease.

What makes our international environment so special is how children very quickly become proficient in French and English. Our positive, hands-on approach makes learning languages feel like a joyful part of every day, equipping children with the skills they need to communicate and grow.
