Our school is a vibrant melting pot of diversity, bringing together families from France, the UK, the US, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Ukraine, and beyond.

This rich cultural tapestry is mirrored in our teaching staff, who represent more than a dozen nationalities, creating a dynamic and globally minded learning environment where every child feels at home.

Do you need to be fluent in English at FISP?

Fluency in English is not a requirement to join FISP! We welcome students from all nationalities and language backgrounds, providing a supportive and inclusive environment.

For those who need it, our dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) programme ensures that every child gains confidence and fluency at their own pace, allowing them to thrive academically and socially.

Do students learn French at FISP?

French is a core part of the curriculum at FISP and is compulsory for all students, in alignment with the Socle Commun de Connaissances, de Compétences et de Culture and in full respect of French educational law.

Our structured French programme ensures progressive language development, with weekly lessons ranging from 4 periods in Early Years to 6 periods in Years 1 to 7.

In Early Years, students benefit from mixed-level immersion, while older students are grouped into Beginners, Intermediate, or Native/Advanced levels to provide targeted instruction.

This approach supports both language acquisition and academic progression within a bilingual and international framework.

Is FISP inclusive ?

FISP welcomes all students for whom places are available and who can thrive within our programmes, embracing diversity regardless of gender, nationality, race, or religion.

We are committed to inclusive education and provide support for children with special educational needs through a combination of on-site resources and external specialists, ensuring every child receives the guidance and care they need to succeed.

We understand the importance of adapting both the classroom environment and teaching methods to meet individual needs, ensuring that every child can thrive.

For students with specific learning requirements, we develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that outline targeted strategies and goals, and we collaborate with external specialists to provide additional support when necessary.

This holistic approach ensures that all students receive the support they need to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

At FISP, we offer rolling admissions with no fixed application deadline. You can apply at any time throughout the year, and placements are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability in the requested class. How do I follow my child’s progress at FISP?

At FISP, we believe in open and continuous communication about your child’s progress. In Primary School, you’ll receive regular updates through the Remind© app, half-termly reports, and scheduled parent-teacher meetings, as well as the opportunity for face-to-face conferences with the Head Teacher.

In Middle School, we provide additional interim progress checks twice a year, leading up to parent-teacher conferences, ensuring you stay informed about your child’s development.

Beyond these formal updates, our doors are always open—you can reach out to your child’s teachers at any time, and we will proactively contact you if there’s anything important to discuss. Your child’s success and well-being are our priority, and we are committed to working closely with you every step of the way.
